Weird Apple Loops Utility Problem

Hi All

I've just bought a new 2.4ghz macbook and loaded the complete Logic Studio Upgrade. Now, if I click on the download icon on the toolbar, click the open in finder icon, the apple loops utility opens...! This happens at various points throughout the system. I click something (seems random so can't trace exactly) and the ALU opens...!!??

Anyone else getting this problem?

Your LaunchServices database is hosed. Open Terminal, type in this command, and press return.

/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/LaunchSe rvices.framework/Versions/A/Support/lsregister -kill -r -domain local -domain system -domain user

Once it's finished, type in this command in Terminal to restart the Dock:

killall Dock

Everything should be okay now!
